Let LPKF worry about the welding so you don’t have to.
The InlineWeld Series are turn-key, drop-in welding solutions designed specifically for systems integrators. Use of the LPKF InlineWeld Series significantly reduces engineering and assembly time delivering higher margins and profits to the integrator. You’ll lower risk and be more competitive.
The flexible LPKF InlineWeld series modules are easily integrated into production lines of a wide variety of business sectors, such as, automotive, medical device and consumer products.
These compact, space saving modules include all the hardware, software and interface functions required for a smooth integration, including:
There are two models in the InlineWeld Series – the InlineWeld 6200 (IW6200) with a welding field up to 100 mm x 100 mm and the larger InlineWeld 6600 (IW6600) with up to 234mm x 317mm working area.
The IW6600 is available with a double clamping module that allows sequential welding of two of the same parts or different parts for high volume applications where cycle time matters.
A 0.7 mm spot size fine focus is available on the IW6200.
Hundreds of the proven, LPKF InlineWeld laser welding series systems are in production lines worldwide. The InlineWeld 6200 is the next generation laser plastic welding solution designed specifically for system integrators to provide a low cost, high margin, drop-in laser plastic welding solution. Choosing the LPKF Inline series welders reduces risk, shortens build times and guarantees a successful outcome for your client’s laser welding production lines.
The system conforms to laser class 1 during production operations and incorporates safety sensors in the clamping system, cylinder unit and the component holder assuring easy compliance with EN-ISO 11553 laser safety standards.
Powerful laser systems need powerful software. The InlineWeld Series comes with the LPKF CAM software ProSeT – to set up the welding contour quickly and easily.
The InLineWeld 6200 uses the ProfiNet interface that enables easy connection to the client’s manufacturing execution system (MES).
The InlineWeld 6200 accepts process data, and in turn supplies the welding process data – such as the time/melt travel data for quality assurance.
Process control and monitoring is handled through the higher-level, integration central control system.
You may also operate the InlineWeld 6200 as a standalone, after mounting in a production cell, using the optional LPKF Interface Module. The interface includes a touch screen panel that can be used to set up and control the system and set parameters without connection to the MES. Great for setting up a new contour or troubleshooting.
The InLineWeld 6600 uses the Profibus and DP/DP couplers for interfacing, as well as, an available discrete I/O option and RS-232.
